Introducing Tshisimani Reflections: A New Space for Shared Thinking and Experience
At Tshisimani, we’ve always believed that learning doesn’t only happen in classrooms or workshops — it happens in conversation, in reflection, and in the stories we tell about the world we’re part of.
Today, we’re excited to announce the launch of a new space on our website: a reflective blog area where activists, staff, partners and participants can share their thoughts, experiences and analyses of the world around us.
This blog will be a home for personal reflections and political insights — a place to think aloud about the cultural, social and political moments shaping our time. Here, you’ll find pieces that look back on Tshisimani’s programmes and partnerships, field notes from learning exchanges, commentary on current events, and essays that trace how people are imagining and organising for freedom across the continent.
It’s also a space for our friends and collaborators — movements, educators, artists and researchers — to share their own writings. We hope it becomes a living archive of ideas and experiences, showing the richness and diversity of voices that make Tshisimani what it is.
Through this blog, we invite you to follow the threads of our work more closely, to engage with the questions we’re grappling with, and to join the ongoing conversation about education, justice and solidarity in Africa.
Stay tuned for regular updates — reflections from our team, partners, and the many communities we work alongside.
Learning continues when we write, reflect and share together.
